Section 01Who These Terms Are With
The agreement is between you, the customer, and Elite Home Appliance Repair L.L.C, an independent appliance repair company in Dubai. We are not an authorised service centre, agent or representative of any appliance manufacturer.
Section 02Bookings And Access
- A booking is confirmed when we send you a technician name and an arrival window.
- Arrival windows are estimates. Traffic, parking and earlier jobs can move them, and we message you when the technician sets off.
- An adult must be present at the address for the whole visit.
- You are responsible for providing safe access to the appliance, along with power and water where the repair needs them.
- If nobody is present or the appliance cannot be reached, the visit counts as attended and the call-out charge applies.
Section 03Diagnosis And Quotation
The technician inspects the appliance, explains the fault and gives a price for parts and labour before any repair work starts. No work is carried out until you approve the price. If the appliance needs a part that is not on the van, we order it and agree a return visit; delivery times for imported parts are outside our control.
Section 04Charges And Payment
- The call-out and diagnostic charge covers travel and inspection, and is payable whether or not you proceed with the repair.
- Where you approve the repair on the same visit, the diagnostic charge is applied against the repair price.
- Prices quoted include VAT where applicable and are confirmed in writing on the invoice.
- Payment is due on completion of the work, by cash, card or bank transfer.
- Unpaid invoices may result in the withdrawal of warranty cover on that repair.
Section 05Warranty On Our Work
Completed repairs carry a written workmanship warranty and, where a part was supplied by us, the part warranty stated on the invoice. The warranty covers only the specific fault repaired and the parts we fitted. It does not cover new or unrelated faults, misuse, power surges, water supply problems, pest damage, or any work carried out on the appliance by another party after our visit.
Section 06Customer-Supplied Parts
Where you supply a part yourself, we will fit it if it is safe and correct, but we cannot warrant that part or any fault arising from it. The labour warranty on that visit still applies.
Section 07Cancellation
Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Section 08Limits Of Liability
We carry out repairs with reasonable skill and care, and we are responsible for damage we directly cause through negligence. We are not liable for the loss of food, clothing or other contents, for pre-existing wear, corrosion or previous unqualified repairs, for appliances that fail again for an unrelated reason, or for indirect losses such as loss of income. Our total liability for any one job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
Section 09Appliances Beyond Repair
Some appliances cannot be repaired economically or safely — obsolete parts, sealed-system failures, flood or fire damage. Where that is the case we say so plainly, and only the call-out and diagnostic charge is payable.
Section 10Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute. If any clause is unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue to apply.
